GSMST 是培养NERD的学校-每年都会有学生因为跟不上而被退回原高中。竞争相当激烈-但也没听说有多少上名学校-孩子们压力太大，又都是亚洲人的路数。如果你的孩子只有ACADEMIC领先，可以考虑；但为了孩子的一生发展，我并不看好。COLLEGE 只是人生的开始，一个只会学习的人在现实生活中是会碰壁的。<br><br><table class="uiGrid -cx-PRIVATE-fbActivityLogStory__grid" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0"><tbody><tr><td class="vTop -cx-PRIVATE-fbActivityLogStory__headline"><br></td><td class="vTop -cx-PRIVATE-fbActivityLogStory__newContent"><div class="-cx-PRIVATE-fbActivityLogStory__content"><h5 class="uiStreamMessage" data-ft="{"type":1,"tn":"K"}">School isn't like real life. <div>Northview High似乎没有参加全美排名，不知道为什么。</div><div><br></div>Gwinnett School of Mathematics, Science and Technology排在全美第3，出乎意料。查了2012年SAT均分，为<span style="color: rgb(68, 68, 68); font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 21px;">1941，比</span><span style="color: rgb(68, 68, 68); font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 21px;">Northview的</span><span style="color: rgb(68, 68, 68); font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; line-height: 18px;">1769</span><span style="color: rgb(68, 68, 68); font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 21px;">高出172分。</span>但是GSMST又没在GA排名，是因为它是charter school的原因吗？哪位高人做解答？<div><br></div><div>另外一点，Northview参加AP的有482人，而GSMST只有97人。而这个似乎是全美排名的重要依据之一。</div>

Alpharetta High 的 college readiness index 是 62.6，比排在第一位的 walton high 的 60.4 高出不止两个百分点，可居然也是连个排名都没有？是有点儿扯。
