The Outstanding Academy has a great internship program. It offers students opportunities to receive skills that will prepare them for their future lives and careers, such as web design, productive cooperation, and marketing. Interns also receive valuable knowledge from guest speakers that lecture the team on various useful topics. Another key element of this internship program is giving back to the community in ways such as better educating the populace, helping the elderly, and improving the environment. Unlike most internship programs, this internship program is structured as a team. All the activities are led by team leaders and are accomplished in a team effort. During the summer, the internship meets 2-3 times a week and spends about 3 hours to work on creating a website, designing logos, and managing academy related tasks，all while working together in a group setting. Interns are also assigned tasks to perform at home. This internship is a year around program and interns will meet once a week when school is in session. Currently the program has about a dozen students, but there are still a few spots left. More high school aged students are welcome to join.
