China Art Exhibit at The Carter Center

This event is free and open to the public, but space is limited
President Carter's historic decision to normalize the relationship between the United States and the People's Republic of China in 1979 changed China, the United States, and the world. The Carter Center’s China Program is dedicated to preserving this legacy and advancing U.S.-China relations by building synergy between China and the United States on issues of global importance.
This exhibit will feature more than 30 paintings by renowned Chinese artists as well as a calligraphy demonstration by Xu Li, one of the leading artists in contemporary China. Former U.S. President Jimmy Carter and members of the Chinese Artists Association will provide brief remarks.
