As part of his USA Tour, Han Lixun the chief designer of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Opening Ceremony is scheduled to give a presentation on March 11, 2013 at UPS.
1. From Conception to Visualization
Han Lixun's presentation will unveil behind-scene preparation for the 2008 Beijing Olympic Opening Ceremony. He will discusses how the production team conceived to convey the spirit of thousands of years of Chinese history and culture to the world in a single night performance, its pressures, challenges and dilemmas.
2. Han Lixun's Art
From his solo art exhibitions in China National Museum of Art, Nanjing History Museum and German Embassy in Beijing to his designs for drama, opera, music concert, musical and most frequently, grant-opening event, Han Lixun will share an array of his work.
3. Survive or Thrive
Drawing from his experience, Han Lixun will shade light on living as an artist in contemporary world.
