*NOTE: This event is to collect large items to be recycled or re-used, NOT LARGE ITEMS FOR DISPOSAL.
Johns Creek residents can now dispose of bulky trash items through their private waste hauler’s curbside collection program.
See below for a list of items that will and will not be accepted.
The following items (in good shape only, please) will be donated to the Atlanta Furniture Bank:
· Mattresses, box springs, bed frames (good condition only)
· Dressers, chests, armoires, mirrors, night stands, TV stands
· Dining tables and chairs
· Cribs, changing tables, highchairs
· Buffets, hutches, china cabinets
· Coffee tables, sofa tables, end tables
· Sofas, loveseats, armchairs, ottomans
· Lamps, kitchenware, linens, working microwave ovens
Additional items that will be accepted:
· Appliances—Refrigerators, Washers, Dryers
· Books
· Computers & Accessories
· Televisions
· Cell Phones
· Bicycles
· Metal items such as grills, furniture, etc.
· Lawn mowers (fluids must be removed)
The following items WILL NOT be accepted:
· Anything torn, stained, broken, or structurally unsound
· Desks, file cabinets, office furniture
· Outdoor furniture
· Pianos
· Game tables
· Exercise equipment
· Hospital beds
· Waterbeds
· Light fixtures, window treatments, carpeting
· Clothing, toys, car seats, strollers, playpen
· Large entertainment centers
· Paint, or Household Hazardous Waste
· Any Fluids Including Motor Oil and Anti-Freeze
· Construction and Demolition Materials
· Yard Debris
· Household Trash
· Tires
· Pet equipment
· Carpets & rugs
