to learn more about Asian American Voters in Georgia and discuss voting
rights in Georgia. It would also be a great opportunity for individuals
with questions about voting matters like Limited English Proficiency
(LEP), voter registration, citizenship verification, and Voter ID
requirements to ask voting specialists at the meeting.

Polling which were conducted in the metro-Atlanta area including
Gwinnett County.
About the AALDEF 2010 Georgia Midterm Elections Exit Polling Project
In
November 2010, the Asian American Legal Defense and Education Fund
(AALDEF) partnered with several national and Georgia community
organizations to conduct multilingual exit polling of Asian Pacific
Americans in several locations in metro-Atlanta, including Gwinnett
County which has one of the largest Asian Pacific American communities
in Georgia. Partner organizations included: OCA Georgia Chapter, APIA
Vote, Lawyers Committee for Civil Rights, National Asian Pacific
American Bar Association, OCA National, South Asian Americans Leading
Together, Center for Pan Asian Community Services, Asian American Legal
Advocacy Center of Georgia, and Georgia Asian Pacific American Bar
Association.
The event is free and open to the public. Light snacks and refreshments will be available.
