周一晚，亚特兰大校董会成员投票决定，花费$56.2 million买下亚城西北部的56英亩土地，拟建Buckhead新高中校区。老的North Atlanta High School位于Northside Drive in Buckhead，而今新校点选在the IBM complex on Northside Parkway。

预计，此次的新校区建设计划将持续两年。建成后，该校将成为第二所中学，大大缓解overcrowded Sutton Middle School on Powers Ferry Road near Chastain Park.的压力。
