What does it means of "Practical" of the program?
It is different from four years program of college in China. It mainly focuses on practical healing skills. It is traditional teaching method. About a half of total class time are used for practising on human bodies with hand by hand teaching methods.
More about Teaching methods
Student volunteer models are needed at classroom. The model learns faster and better than other students as he/she feels the right location of an acupoint. Every student has to practice tuina on a lot of human bodies. Every student has to be touched and feels the diffrence between the right way and the wrong way.
Active Talk-and-Practice method will be used on the most classes. Suppose a class contain three hours. Then, one and a half hours will be used for lecturing on basic knowledge; another one and a half hours will be used for tuina on a human model. Every student has time to practice, to feel and to be felt by tuina.
