FREE H1N1 Vaccinations Offered at Vietnamese New Year Celebration

(DECATUR, GA) If you have not received the H1N1 vaccine, it is not too late. The Gwinnett County Health Department and the DeKalb County Board of Health are partnering with Boat People SOS to offer FREE H1N1 vaccinations (nasal & injectable) at the Vietnamese New Year Celebration scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 14, 2010, at the Oakbrook Square Shopping Center 5495 Jimmy Carter Blvd., in Norcross.
The H1N1 clinic will be set up behind the stage, near the children's activity area, and will be offered from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Vaccine is available to anyone interested and will be provided at no charge. A small administrative fee may be charged to Medicaid, Medicare or private insurance. People are encouraged to bring their cards with them at the time of service, as well as their child's immunization records.
Flu experts warn that the flu may peak again before the season is over.
