Update: The Atlanta Chinese Go Association will host a go tournament at Perimeter Church on May 8 staring at 9:30 am.  We will begin pairing opponents and take pictures at 9:15 am.  Please arrive on time.  Please bring your go equipment if you can, as well as watches or laptops. This tournament is double-elimination.  We plan to schedule 4 rounds on May 8.  Here is a proposed timetable.  Every player has 35 minutes for each game. If you run out of your time, a referee will come and force 30 seconds per move. •       Round 1: 09:30 am --- 10:45 am •       Round 2: 10:45 am --- 12:00 pm •       Round 3: 01:00 pm --- 02:15 pm •       Round 4: 02:15 pm --- 03:30 pm Since this is our first tournament and the number of players and their levels are unknown, we intend to place all players in one group.  We allow the relatively weak players (exceeding a two-level gap) to choose from the following game settings in round 1 per agreement of their opponents: •       Even Game (Black needs 185 points to win, which means a komi of 7.5 points) •       No Komi Game (Black needs 181 points to win) •       2-Stone Handi Game (Black needs 183 points to win) •       3-Stone Handi Game (Black needs 184 points to win) For example, if your opponent is 2D and you are 5K, the gap is 6 levels, then please don’t hesitate to ask for 3-stone handi in round 1. Beginning in round 2, all games are even games.      If more rounds are needed, we will schedule another date.  Time and place will be announced after May 8 games.    Due to time conflicts of some players, an online group may be applied for the first 4 rounds.  2 of 4 online players in the group can enter round 5.

比赛与5月8日上午9：30开始。 届时可能借到计时器来查看时间。请各位棋手注意：本次快棋赛的完成时间是1小时15分，每方35分钟左右。 围棋新人和外国朋友可以在第一轮要求对手让子，请老资格棋手予以大度支持。 如果您无法完成下午的比赛，可与裁判与对手协商另行比赛的时间和方式。 请所有理事届时到场协助赛事组织工作。 欢迎还没有报名的棋友发电邮给古俊峰或罗飞军，以便确认参加人数。 如有疑问，请来电。
