Got your message loud and clear. You defined it well, but you over looked the most important aspect here, that is the legal power and authorities of 168, which enable them to make the vital decisions on the bases of it's philosophy, principle, and legal status to meet the needs of their viewers in the Chinese communities. I also don't believe that 168 staff did pay any cautious attention to the contents of the articles in advance, until the moment of emergence of the "two sides" (as you put it this way), obviously, they were caught off the guard. The action they took, however, wasn't following the flow, nor tried to do any favor on neither side. They simply had to decided it one way or another. There is baseless to criticize168 for being "discrimination". Any of today's institutions, organizations, etc. will take a decisive decision whenever it is necessary, regardless of it is a popular one or not. This is the main reason we have never seen any official rules, regulations, decisions can earn 100% support from the general public. You have argued that the 168 could place some restrictions insted of blocking up, definitely they could, but they took another option and executed their legal rights. Just like the old saying; you just can't please every one, no matter how hard you try.....

All people and articles here should be treated equally. The web manager can say welcome or keep quiet. It is not professional nor appropriate to claim "not welcome" from the legal point of view. When two groups of people demonstrate against each other, the web manager's task and only task is to maintain the order. Any supporting to either side is to discriminating the other side. To avoid risk of being accused of discrimination the web manager could let those articles be published in Man&Woman or Adult area.

You have posted a clean-cut comment. I do understand that the FREEDOM you mentioned here means "the freedom of speech". However, the sentences you also put it as ".....at the edge of discrimination.....", it puzzles me in some extent, please pardon my ignorance, could you kindly enough to define or explain what's really up to? Thanks a lot!

游客18,

Of course I see the value of this web site. At least, all discussions and exchanges are best things happened to Chinese communities in Greater Atlana - we are no longer lonely-isolated-far-from-home souls, each of us can share his/her thought on this platform.

It is exactly I don't like someone came in and boss us around and tell us what we should said or not said about any truthful feeling regardless what it is about. If the content is suitable for minors, restricts it. It is a standard practice on forum.

15 楼, when you ask someone something, and he/she answered, "I have my answer."

and your reaction is "so, you don't know. what a pity!"

What is your logic?

You shouldn't have possessed such rude and offensive attitude to someone's responses. Yet I may presume that you did have some ideas on the value of 168, since they are not your favorite, especially during the current Chinese school event, your evaluation on 168 has been way down, so you just didn't like #6's comments nor his #12 response, then you found a gap to satirize his honest answer.

You should understand the meaning of the VALUE, most time we put "how much" for certain objects to decide it's value, but in the broad sense, many things can not be measured just by it's materialized value, such as the theories, the conceptions, the influnences, the ideas and so on.

The 168, this website has been serving the Chinese communities since 2008. it provides various info to benifit those who need things to meet their needs. It also made a friendly connections among us, the business people and other groups as well. The most important aspect is that it maintains our cultures and traditions from individual to the families... This is 168's unmeasuable VALUE.

As the old saying puts it this way : No matter how hard you try, you just can't please everyone. So. let's calm down, be COOL! Just look the bright side, and things are not as bad as you may think.
