<P>Suggested Audience: Parents and children ages three and older<BR>The Chinese Moon Festival! (or the Mid-Autumn Festival)<BR>in China and many Asian countries is the equivalent of Thanksgiving Day in the United States. Its origins go back to ancient times.<BR>The Moon Festival comes on the 15th day of the 8th full moon of the lunar year -- also known as Chinese Year.</P>
<P><BR>On this night, (October 3, 2009),the moon is at its brightest and biggest.In the traditional Chinese Culture,friends and family gather together to enjoy the moonlight,celebrate the autumn harvest and eat mooncakes!</P>
