I am from the Atlanta area and grew up in the public school system. I am currently a student at Columbia University in New York. I specialize in helping students prepare college applications, writing and improving essays, and improving reading comprehension. Together I can help students improve their Critical Reading and Writing scores on the SAT, and can help students perfect their applications to all types of colleges. I help students come up with a plan of application so that they can get into every level of college they want, so that they have options to choose from when they are accepted. 

I also specialize in history and can help students taking AP history courses. 

In high school, I was a member of the Atlanta Symphony Youth Orchestra, Allstate Orchestra and Band, and the Emory Youth Symphony Orchestra. I am now in the New York Youth Symphony and have played at Carnegie Hall and Alice Tully Hall. I teach oboe lessons and can teach beginners as well. 

In town this summer, and can continue tutoring online after I go back to New York.

I can help students reach short term goals, such as improving test scores, and can help with long term goals, such as planning out what colleges to apply to, improving essays for those colleges, and polishing applications.
