商会2009春节晚会与年会

玉鼠吉祥辞岁去,金牛幸运贺春来。亚特兰大中国商会继成功举办第十六届春节晚会后,将于2008年12月26日,星期五(圣诞节后长周末,几天不上班),在优雅豪华的亚特兰大艺术中心交响音乐厅隆重推出第十七届春节文艺晚会。一千八百多座的华丽剧场内,亚城各界的朋友们将欢聚一堂共庆新春。这一年一度的盛会将再次给社区和侨胞带来欢乐温馨和高质量的艺术享受。
亚特兰大中国商会举办的各项活动在亚城久负盛名,特别是每年举办的春节晚会,年年翻新,长盛不衰。晚会不论从其规模上还是艺术上年年都在提高,是亚特兰大地区规模最大水平最高的晚会之一,成为亚城和乔治亚及近临各州旅美华人春节期间不可或缺的节目。这次因恰值中美建交三十周年,商会特别邀请到由中国文化部组织的国内最高水平的艺术家演出团来表演(强大的演出阵营将在后续报道中陆续介绍),机会难得,大家千万不要错过。
為了廣大會員的利益,商會仍将象去年一样,以宴會的形式舉辦2009年會,會員將得到更多的實惠。年會和晚宴定于2008年12月20日星期六晚上6點30分,在新的喜万年大酒楼(Happy Valley Dim Sum & Asian Cuisine;5495 Jimmy Carter Blvd;Norcross, GA 30093)隆重舉行。新喜万年大酒楼与新香港食品超市毗邻,其宴会大厅宽敞明亮、豪华气派,宴會餐上的菜肴丰富可口,让會員享受丰美的晚餐。希望亞特蘭大的所有新朋老友都能來參加這一盛會,共襄盛舉,把年會舉辦的熱熱鬧鬧的。大家可上網填登記表格或下載表格http://www.cbaaweb.org/membership/join_cbaa.asp,click “download”,填写后连同會費和春晚支票務必於于2008年12月15日前寄送:Roger Li, 4120 Presidential Pkwy. 春節晚會的門票将在世界書局、長城禮品店、Symphony Hall Ticket Office(404-737-5000)、各中文学校等售票點熱銷,或致电678-612-3405购买,早買早得好座。票價為二十元、三十元、四十元、VIP五十元,對號入座,團體(十张以上)八折優惠。如果是2009年商会会籍的会员每人都有$10的優惠(需儘早預訂),其家屬也可有20%的折扣,購票直接和商會聯繫。或在填写會員登記表时注明購春節晚會門票张數种类和金额,在交會員費的支票上加上購票費一併寄至Roger Li, 4120 Presidential Pkwy. ================================= 2009 Chinese Spring Festival Celebration Performance and Annual Meeting of CBAA
Chinese Business Association of Atlanta (CBAA) will present the No. 17 Annual Chinese Spring Festival Celebration Performance on Friday, December 26, 2008, at Atlanta Symphony Hall. It will be a visual and audio feast of Chinese folk songs and dances celebrating the traditional Chinese Spring Festival, the beginning of the lunar calendar year, the year of the Ox.
A highly claimed artists group from China will give the majority of the performances. These performing artists are part of the State-sponsored entourage visiting the States to celebrate the 30-year anniversary of the normalization of Sino-American relationship.
A more detailed introduction of the artists will follow this announcement shortly.
Furthermore, CBAA will hold its annual meeting in the form of a dinner party on Saturday, December 20, 2008, 6:30 P.M., at newly relocated Happy Valley Dim Sum and Asian Cuisine, 5495 Jimmy Carter Blvd., Norcross, GA 30093.
Members and their families are welcome. Anyone who is interested in CBAA’s work and the Chinese community in general is also welcome.

Your membership will entitle you for two free entrance to the CBAA’s Spring and Fall picnic parties. On the annual meeting, President Frank Zhou will give annual report, Director Roger Li will give annual financial report, and the Board will give award to outstanding members and hold election for the new board members. Candidates are welcome to send their resumes to the Board Election Committee.
Performances by local artists and their students, Karaoke, board games, Mahjong and raffle tickets are available at the meeting. |
