I was not able to go to the event, so I'm glad there were videos taken. I've just watched all the videos, and there are some interesting insights on how Chinese-Americans can break the glass ceiling in corporate America. <br><br>I especially liked Frank's comment about "the benefit of the doubt" --- often, white men are given the benefit of the doubt until they prove they can't do the job, while women and minorities must first prove that they can do the job. It is a form of unconscious, structural discrimination that we should work to become aware of and eliminate. At the same time, as individual Asian-Americans looking to succeed in the workplace, it's important to know that --- at least for now --- we do have to work to prove that we are better, not just as good as, our peers.<br><br>I'm also pleased to see that Asian-Americans who have already been successful in their careers take an interest in this issue. It's important to have role models, and Bettina and Ron can certainly play that role.<br>
